• Westernization of written Chinese, including a discussion of the increased use of the pronoun for she or 她 (Clara Chan Ho Yan)

2009 年 3 月 15-21 日在苏州举行的 《中英文学翻译培训研讨班》刚结束。下面是我的一些感想。欢迎留言！

这次培训研讨班由英国企鹅出版社组织，由三个政府资助：中国（中国新闻出版总署）、英国 （Department for Culture, Media and Sport 和 Arts Council England）以及澳洲政府 （Australia Council for the Arts）。同时，今年的第二届培训研讨班也获得了 University of Sydney, The British Centre for Literary Translation 和凤凰出版传媒集团的支持。 

一开始，我们被分成六个小组。每个小组包括 6-7 个翻译员、一个作家和一个组长。三个小组是搞中文到英文翻译，另外三个是英文到中文的。 Read the rest of this entry »
