• Translated yarns:  Fully 1/2 of the Top 30 were originally written in a foreign language
• Tomas Brezina: 7 of the Austrian writer’s works — mainly featuring the “Knickerbocker Gang” solving mysteries — are in the Top 30
• JK Rowling: Three of her Harry Potter classics are still in the Top 20
• Chinese monopoly: Only 15 of the best-sellers were originally written in Chinese, and 9 of them are authored by Yang Hongying
